John E. Cereso, Esq.

John E. Cereso, Esq. started the Nevada Law Group in 2005. He practices family law, criminal defense, business law, estate planning and probate, contract drafting and civil/commercial litigation.

Cereso also enjoys handling both franchisee and franchisor clients with an emphasis on drafting Franchise Disclosure Documents and related paperwork. He is a co-owner of Exardius Limited, a franchise consultancy, which can fill in the gaps your franchise may be missing, such as training programs or manuals, operations manuals, selection systems or performance management tools.

Cereso is licensed to practice law in Nevada and New Jersey and with the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington D.C. He has his Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law, Toledo, Ohio; Master of Arts from Saint Mary's University, Winona, Minnesota; and Bachelor of Arts from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri. Cereso also proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was a highly decorated sergeant in missile warning and space systems operations.

As an active member of the community, Cereso is a member of the Nevada State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, National Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Sin City Chamber of Commerce, Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.

Cereso resides in Henderson, NV with his domestic partner, Larry, and their Rottweiler, Natasha. In his spare time, Cereso enjoys travelling, fine dining, and all types of movies, theatre, television, and reading. He has a passion for music, has an extensive collection of recorded music, was formerly an audio / video engineer and studio manager, worked for the Detroit Symphony, belongs to the largest and oldest music fraternity in America, and studied trombone, baritone and Piano in his younger days.
